The Ogun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) extends heartfelt congratulations to Comrade Alhassan Yahyah on his recent election as the new President of the NUJ.


The Chairman of the Ogun State Council of the NUJ, Comrade Akinwale Olanrewaju expresses joy and immense pride at the conduct of the election that brought in the new members of the Central Working Committee, particularly Comrade Alhassan, to this esteemed position. He is confident that Alhassan's exceptional leadership qualities, extensive experience, and forward-thinking vision will propel the Union toward remarkable achievements. 


We commend Alhassan Yahyah for his unwavering dedication, tireless work ethic, and steadfast commitment to our profession, all of which have rightfully earned him this significant achievement. The Union therefore wish him a successful tenure and assures him of our unwavering support and steadfast collaboration as he endeavours to enhance the interests of journalists and advance the mission of the Union.


In addition, the Council extends its congratulations to all other elected officials and encourages them to leverage their positions for the betterment of the Union and its members.
